Through Onsite Discovery's partnership with URETEK, we initially consulted the client on URETEK's capabilities. Soon after, when this need arose, we performed emergency investigatory DCP testing. Based on the test results, we designed, scoped, and estimated the project, as well as managed it through to completion. We also worked closely with URETEK's creative firm to have this video produced.

The mine needed to bring in a new 40 ton tracked machine into service but engineers deemed a critical section of the path to be structurally deficient. Using innovative planning, lightweight material choices, and expert installation, the client was able fortify the weakened area with zero downtime to mining operations and successfully deliver the new equipment to the remote edges of the mine.

POST-FLOODING SUBGRADE TESTING
2019 proved to be a challenging year due to seemingly unrelenting epic flooding. As a subcontractor to a major geotechnical firm, we performed a multitude of Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests with our specialized high speed equipment to help this major rail client assess their flooding damage.
